The latest washcloths! They're all crocheted, which apparently I'm not very good at yet, so they're all wobbly and misshapen. And blocking all of them is way too overwhelming. So what if someone's washcloth's all wobbly; it'll block out itself when it gets wet. ...Right?
Actually this one's knitted; I wanted to continue on with the candy-colored theme of my first three knitted washcloths, so I knitted this guy too! This color is "Playtime," and I consider it to be partners with the "Summer Splash" colored washcloth because it also looks like those non-Smarties candy necklaces!
Okay, back to the crocheted guys! This color's called "Landscape."
Country Stripes.
Potrourri Ombre. This looks like bubble gum ice cream in real life! Mmmmmmm!
Daisy Ombre. The color's actally a warmer tone in real life. Some say it looks like scrambled eggs. But, because "Daisy"'s in the name, when I look at this I think of the Daisy perfume Tim gave me one year for Christmas. It smells really good!!
Country Twists.
I think this one's Denim. But it looks like blueberries 'n cream ice cream! Which I had not to long ago, and didn't like very much. So this color combo makes me feel weird.
Natural Stripes. At first I thought this looked like Neapolitan ice cream, which I love! But then I realized the pink part is actually orangey, so I'm a little disappointed.
Lime Stripes. Pretty sherbert-y!
Is this Faded Denim?? I don't remember. All I know is that this looks like blueberry Laffy Taffy.
Green Twists.
I had a little bit of Potpourri Ombre left, so I used that for the inside of this one, and used some leftover Cotton-Ease, in Lake.
The next day at work, Melanie and I got together all the washcloths we’d made to donate to Beth123B’s cause. I think there were 43 in all! We went up to the caf to take pics of ‘em all.

Time to get these suckers ready to ship! Melanie rolls up all the washcloths and puts them in ziplock bags.
And I squish out all the air and place them in shipping boxes (provided b Melanie, of course!). We fit these, plus some travel-sized toiletries, into only three boxes!

And also, because this was my first knitting project ever, I did a garter stitch (knit every row) for the whole blankie. This is meant to be a light blankie for during the summer, so that pattern calls for Cotton-Ease for breathability. I used Lake and Taupe. And this was my first introduction to my now-cherished number 7 us – 32 in. circular needle!
